Scope
Who this policy applies to
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to public visitors, account holders, trial users, paid subscribers, beta testers, and institutional reviewers using Macro by Mark. It supplements the Terms of Use.
If a signed order form or negotiated agreement is in place, that agreement may add stricter use rules for the covered account or organization.
Security
Security and account boundaries
You may not use the site to:
- Break, probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, authorization, rate limits, paywalls, billing, admin tooling, or access controls.
- Use another person's account, impersonate a user, share admin access, or try to reach data outside your own account boundary.
- Upload malicious code, exploit a vulnerability, compromise another user's data, or attack the platform or its vendors.
- Run denial-of-service tests or automated scans that create load beyond ordinary use unless written permission is granted first.
Automation
Scraping, bulk access, and substitute products
You may not scrape, crawl, bulk download, automate requests, or resell product outputs in a way that burdens the service, bypasses intended limits, violates provider terms, or recreates a paid feature without written permission.
You may not use the site, Marco, or product outputs to train a competing model, build a substitute service, or replicate Macro by Mark's product-specific copy, design, interface patterns, or original analysis without written permission.
Content
Misuse of data, sources, and outputs
You may not:
- Remove source context, hide provider limitations, or imply official provider endorsement where none exists.
- Republish Macro by Mark's product-specific copy, branding, or original educational material as your own.
- Submit content you do not have rights to use or that violates another person's rights.
- Use Marco, forecasts, model outputs, or indicator summaries as professional advice or as a substitute for primary-source review.
Lawful use
Sanctions, export controls, and prohibited conduct
You may not use Macro by Mark unlawfully, deceptively, in violation of sanctions or export-control law, to facilitate fraud, or to violate third-party rights. The product is not directed to children under 13.
Users are responsible for making sure their use is permitted by their employer, school, jurisdiction, and any applicable data-provider terms.
Response
Enforcement
Macro by Mark may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate access depending on severity, risk, legal obligation, billing status, or security impact. Urgent abuse may be limited without advance notice.
